I am a dedicated CNA with experience in hospital, long-term care, and memory care settings. I provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding while maintaining dignity and comfort. I am attentive to changes in condition, communicate clearly with families, and create a safe, supportive environment. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and treating every client like family. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, reliable, patient & caring. I like caring for seniors because I value their life experience and the stories they share. It's rewarding to be able to support them, make them feel comfortable, and help them maintain their dignity and independence. I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide compassionate, hands-on care while building meaningful relationships with clients and supporting their comfort, safety, and independence.
Emily is excellent! 💯 Professional, hard worker, trustworthy and compassionate. She cared for my 97 y/o Papa. We met at the hospital, 8 mos after he suffered a TBI, during one of many admits, where she was our CNA/tech that day. We instantly connected and Papa trusted her quickly. I recognize hard workers and asked if she’d consider helping with private care. I’m so thankful she agreed because it became a great relationship for the next 7 mos. I work in healthcare and chose to rehab Papa at home after his injury. It was a ton of work and miserable at times. His cognition and balance really took a hit and his mood varied. He made it obvious when he didn’t like someone new. Most of the time our days were the same. Up with walker and gait belt to the bathroom for morning and night routine, eating meals at the table, his job to mix his coffee, cut his own food, do his exercises (after his brief nap at the table 😉), play table games, sit outside on the patio, get ready for appts, etc. But, slow cognition days, he’d be wiped out, sleep 20 hours and need to be completely changed in bed. Or he’d be out of it, stand up wobbly to use the urinal, need firm encouragement to sit up to eat/drink before going back to sleep again. Bad mood days he was feisty, swear a lot and be demanding. His facial expressions were key and Emily recognized this and adapted quickly. She knew when to be firm and when to be supportive. He adored her so much, he sang songs to her in Spanish. She helped us about a dozen times from April - Nov 2025. From a few hours here and there, to several hours many days in a row… to 24 hrs straight. She experienced all of Papa’s moods and handled them with dignity and grace. I mentioned his history to give insight why Emily has earned my highest recommendation. I’m happy to discuss further upon request. 💕
