About Emily

I'm looking to watch 1-2 children, at my house, along side my own two children, ages 4 and 2. We live on a farm so your child will have hands on experience with taking care of small animals, as well as learning about gardening and the natural world. My boys and I love to bake, so your child would learn to bake, as well as going to the library weekly, as well as daily stories and mini-lessons. I am a certified elementary teacher, worked in a day care for four years, and was a Spanish teacher for 2 years, before becoming a full time stay at home mom. I am passionate about teaching my children through integrated lessons with real-life experiences, such as math through baking, science through gardening, responsibility through fun. I read and teach about things weekly and would be happy to provide small lesson plans, pictures, and reports, as well as any other communication parents prefer.
