About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily. I am currently a student at Western Michigan University pursuing my Master's degree in Behavior Analysis. I'm 26 years old and have been a caregiver in many different capacities since age 13 when I had my first babysitting job. Since then I've had experience working at a children's daycare, a preschool, a retirement community, an Alzheimer's day center, a home-health agency that provides services to the elderly, and in the home settings of a few different families/older adults that I've met through Care. com. Though most of my caregiving experience has been with humans, I've been around and cared for dogs for many years (family pets, watching/babysitting the pets of friends/family, etc.). My boyfriend and I currently live in a house in Kalamazoo with a fenced-in backyard. I am an honest, hard-worker with passion for and integrity in what I do.
