About Emily

I am currently an occupational therapist (OT) transitioning to this role of nannying. I love working with kids because kiddos always bring a such a sweet outlook on life that remind me of the little joys in life. I have loved learning how to support kids and parents through my experience as an occupational therapist over the past 5 years with a holistic, child-centered approach. I started working with kids before making the decision to pursue OT school and since graduation have worked with kiddos ages 0-15 using developmentally appropriate play based approaches. My skills include functional skills, sensory integration, and emotional regulation. While I do not offer OT services on this platform, my background in child development, sensory processing, and physical motor skills play a role in my approach. In my spare time, I love to hike, explore new coffee shops, read and hang out with my two pups!
