About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily. I may not have any professional, paid experience as a tutor but I do find great pleasure in volunteering! I have been with School on Wheels for several years now tutoring the underprivileged student demographic. I also tutored in many of my classes throughout college (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and a myriad of Biology courses). I am extremely enthusiastic in my studies and love to be apart of other people's victories/struggles when learning a difficult subject. I am organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in getting to know the students I tutor. I am also fond of learning peoples stories and how individual personalities, partnered with learning, intertwine to create unique study methods. There is so much to learn and love about the world around us, and I am passionate about being someone who helps others learn and love it as well!
