Hello, my name is Emily and I cannot think of a time in my life that I was not taking care of children. I am the middle child in a family of 7. I grew up caring for my younger sisters and working in my mother's home daycare. My experience with childcare outside the home started at age 12 with babysitting jobs. I then nannied for several families from age 14-18. I also worked in a daycare at age 17. Currently, I am attending JCCC in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. I have experience caring for with newborn to age 13. I am warm, caring and nurturing. I love to go exploring and share experiences with the children.

By all accounts Emily was incredible! She made it a point to connect with each child, even going so far as to help clean my preteen’s room! She was patient with my child who struggles with behavior. Kind, safe, and hard-working. Selfishly I’d like to keep her to myself, but I know how hard it is to find a sitter.
