My name is Emily and I'm 25 years old. I live in Clayton, NC and I'm a UNCP graduate with a Bachelor's in Special Education and a concentration in English/Language Arts. I taught in an elementary self-contained classroom for 3 years and now ready to try something new. I've been working with Special Needs kids for 9 years and it's truly my passion. I have worked in a daycare as a floater and worked as a CNA with two special needs girls while in college. I'm available to nanny/babysit/tutor special needs individuals and/or neuro-typical kiddos part time or full time. I'm SIDS and CPR certified. I have acquired basic ASL which has come in handy with young children and nonverbal individuals alike. I will gladly provide references if needed.
