About Emily

Hi, my name is Emily. I am 28 years old and currently work as a legal assistant. I attended college in Florida where I babysat for a family with the sweetest little girl and 2 dogs for 2. 5 years. It was my favorite job I've ever had! Since moving home to Illinois, I have worked in real estate law. Though I am thankful for the opportunity to learn something new, working with children is where I thrive so I have decided to pursue a career in education. While in school, I hope to find a family I can nanny for (ideally, 35-50 hrs/week). I am a stepmom to a sweet, smart, and VERY silly 5-year-old boy and have come up with creative and educational ways to entertain little ones. I am happy to help with pets and daily chores. I would describe myself as compassionate, patient, creative, protective, and reliable. I have full availability M-F, but I will need to provide about a month's notice at my current job.
