About Emily

After a year as a preschool teacher and a year as a live-in nanny, I've found it to be the most fulfilling kind of work. I especially enjoy teaching self-regulation and interpersonal skills, and always see kids grow rapidly in both. I'd describe my personality as calm but silly. I enjoy having quiet conversations with kids, helping them explore their imagination, and discovering new things about the world with them. I'm looking for a job where a calm, steady caretaker will be appreciated and employers who are willing to communicate closely with me about their children's personal needs. In my spare time, I like to play my harp, write poetry, and paint.
