Hello! My name is Emily, and I work 8 months of the year as an outdoor youth educator for Outward Bound taking kids on multi-week backpacking and climbing trips. I have 5 years of experience tutoring kids 5 to 12 in an after school program, and 10+ years of experience working with kids from ages 0 to 10 in various settings including daycares, preschools, and working privately with families. I have extensive medical training from my job with Outward Bound. My certification is called a Wilderness First Responder, which includes First Aid, CPR, and much more. I also have a 4 year degree in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College. I absolutely love working with kids and can help in any way needed with schoolwork / housework / or pet care. As an outdoor educator, I love engaging kids on creative adventures, whether it be something outside, or developing imaginative ways to engage kids in the home.
