About Emily

Through my 10 years of experience in childcare as a nanny/babysitter, camp counselor, religious education teacher, and nursery worker, I have taught, nurtured, and cared for boys and girls as young as 6 weeks up through elementary school. My B. S. in Behavioral Neuroscience provided me with a strong understanding of child development that has supported me throughout various childcare positions. As a nanny, my responsibilities have included diaper changing, feeding bottles/purees/solids, meal prep, bathing, housekeeping, and laundry. Other skills include: potty-training, early learning, organizing creative and educational activities, and seeking out/driving to local age-appropriate classes and programs to help children reach developmental goals. I have a car and a clean driving record, and am CPR/First Aid certified and comfortable with pets!
