My goal is to foster well-being and independence in those I assist. I provide transportation, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. I am also experienced in dementia care, hospice, physical activity, errands, and shopping. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with a calm demeanor. I prioritize understanding your loved one's preferences and personal history to build a strong connection. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, or I will follow your preferred communication method. I have a college degree and current CPR Training. I am eager to use my skills to bring comfort and support to your family.

Emily is a very caring person. She did a great job helping my elderly mother. Her knoledge and experience showed in everything she does. Very good handling  my moms dementia and physical needs.

I had such hope and excitement to bring Emily on board as the weekend night CG for our elderly parents.

Unfortunately, we were very let down. 
 
We have managed caregiver's for my parents for over 3 years now. And I have worked with and met A LOT of caregivers over the years. Additionally, ALL of our caregivers LOVE our parents. There are rarely or never any issues. 

Our parents are in their 90's and they do keep their house very warm.  This was not a good fit for Emily. Which is fine, however, the upsetting aspect is that she not only quit in an unprofessional manner but with no notice. She also tried to force my parents to accept her way and demanded to leave the windows open while it was 61 degrees outside. For people in their 90's they don't have the best circulation, they are much more prone to getting cold and sick. 

MORE important, people should never be made to feel uncomfortable in their own home. This was a rather upsetting tactic and has me worried for future people that may hire her. I wonder if Emily would dominate or attempt to force her needs before the client. That is very concerning. 

This was also something that could have easily been managed but it escalated for both her as well as my parents. And now my parents are concerned for the way they were dismissed as if they were children as if their needs didn't matter. 

On a positive note: I really enjoyed meeting Emily, she is nice and had only great reviews...so I felt  good about her....but unfortunately, it didn't work out. I also feel that maybe there was too many tasks and such for her. She might be a better fit for the elderly who really only need someone to sit with them and serve them food or play games. 

Not really sure as it didn't work out, but felt the need to express our situation.  



Emily M responded to my request for assistance. She was consistently kind, understanding of my needs, and professional in her guidance. 

Emily became a part of my 90 year-old mom's care recently. We were immediately  impressed with our first meeting. Emily has many experiences in the care of seniors and already had an insight how to be a part of my mom's schedule and care. She also shared her sense of responsibility of maintaining a clean and safe environment in the home. She is a wonderful addition to my mom's care!

I interviewed Emily, unfortunately, our needs changed so we couldn't hire her but if i am ever in need I would do so!

Emily provided caring, kind help to mom as she recovered from her surgery.  As her condition improved, she was careful to provide the level of care she needed, allowing her level of independence to improve.

Emily cared for my paraplegic husband for a couple of respite week stays as well as occasional day care.  I could completely relax knowing my husband was well taken care of in Emily's hands.  
Emily is warm, kind and very attentive.  We both love her.  I highly recommend Emily!

Emily helped to care for my 93 year old grandfather with Alzheimer's in his home during a week when his regular care-giver was out of town.  Emily was very professional, kind, and considerate during the hiring process.  My grandmother told me that she did a wonderful job taking take of my grandfather; she was punctual, warm, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and compassionate.   We would definitely use Emily again in the future if her services were needed.  Would highly recommend.

Emily cares for my 87 year old mother with dementia and other health concerns, and works weekend evenings/nights. You won't find a better caregiver than Emily. Emily is kind, compassionate, and cares for my mom as if she was family. She's very experienced and knowledgeable, and takes time on her own to do research, and network within the caregiver community to assist with care-giving needs. Emily is meticulous in executing assignments such as medication reminders, application of lotion/ointments, and documenting medical issues. She's emotionally mature, dependable, and an excellent communicator. Emily is sensitive to my mom's needs, is a wonderful companion, and works wonders to improve my mom's spirits. She's always got a smile on her face, and always makes my mom feel comfortable with her being there. She shows my mom acts of kindness you wouldn't expect from a caregiver. Emily is a top notch caregiver, and I have no hesitation in highly recommending her.
