About Emily

It is not uncommon for me to get a text or call from a parent saying, "How soon can you babysit? My child won't stop talking about you watching them again!" I guess coming from a family of 10 kids you could say that being a fun and nurturing caretaker is expected! There's nothing I love more than to expand a child's imagination, grow a fun relationship with them, and nurture a passion for learning; all in a safe environment. Being experienced with kids from a young age has blessed me with many babysitting jobs since the age of 12, and even a full-time nannying job for two years. I have cared for many infants, toddlers, and kids with disabilities. I have also worked in after-school programs for 5+ years with kids aged 8-11. There I worked one-on-one with the kids, and also taught groups of 30-60 kids with other adults. Lastly, I am also CPR and First Aid certified, and currently working towards a nursing degree. I am responsible, trustworthy, and fun!
