About Emily

I graduated from UNC-G with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2020. I worked in clinical research for four years, but decided I needed a change. I am 29 years old, and have been caring for kids since I was 11 years old in both personal and professional contexts- in fact, I have a 6-month-old of my own! I am a very nurturing person with a big heart and an energetic spirit who loves kids (and animals!) of all ages. I love to be goofy and silly, especially with kids. I also connect very well with older adults and have experience working with people that are cognitively impaired from my time as a research coordinator at Duke. I have flexibility when it comes to how many hours to work. Pay is negotiable, but I would like the pay to reflect my past experience, educational background, and CPR certification.
