About Emily

Hi, I'm Emily! I am a former middle school science teacher with a B. S. in Education from UMD and an M. S in Education from John's Hopkins. I have years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including teaching, tutoring, and babysitting children as young as 2 months old. I love helping kids feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I enjoy finding activities that fit each child's age and interests, whether that's crafts, reading, outdoor play, or helping with homework. My background in education has taught me to be patient, flexible, and calm, and I'm comfortable adapting to each child's personality and routine. In my free time, I love to crochet, cook, exercise, and spend time with family and friends.
