About Emily

I've been in childcare for seven years, having worked as a preschool/day care teacher, nanny, and camp counselor! I'm a biology and pediatric clinical research (premed) student at the University of Utah. I'm passionate about nurturing children's growth and making a positive impact on them. I've worked with all ages, from infants to teenagers. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR/AED, as well having Utah childcare licensing service training. My approach to childcare is creative and development driven. I love to engage children in physical activities such as hiking and outdoor play, as well as imaginative activities like arts and crafts. I'm always looking for educational ways to promote learning catered to a child's age. I'm comfortable enforcing family rules and believe in open communication with parents to ensure that their children are safe and happy. I am in need of a consistent job with a family able to work around my class schedule this summer! *I am now located in Salt Lake!
