About Emily

Emily led me on to believe she was looking for a long term commitment and when my veteran husband got home he read between the lines of what I relayed to him about what Emily said when she was in my home to meet my son. Her husband was in the Navy and on leave for two weeks in March. I hired her but reached out hours later asking if what my husband thought was true. No naval bases in TX, husband is based in a coastal city, and she’d be moving to that city soon. She finally admitted that her husband is stationed in Virginia and he gets home in March and she’s going house hunting there to move in with him. It’s Feb 20th. She lied straight to my face, intended to work for 4 weeks to save up for the move and leave me high and dry at the last minute. When I said that’s terrible and this will not work for us, her response was so callous. She did not care one bit. During the interview I basically begged her to be honest about this being a good fit, long term, reliable, etc. I explained how hard it’s been on me and my job with last nanny calling in regularly only hours before she was due here. Emily looked me straight in the eye and said whatever she needed to in order to save up some pick cash then no show me in 4 weeks. Wow!!
