About Emily

I'm a teacher, now stay-at-home mom to three littles, 7F, 5M, 3M, who is open to welcoming 1-2 other children to our daily routine which includes backyard play (it's child-centered, shady, and no pets), park and library visits, monthly read aloud units, table learning time, nutritious home cooked meals, and midday rest time. Kids are usually playing and I'm usually cooking or cleaning, as well as facilitating activities. I love to incorporate elements of Montessori and Naturalistic learning philosophies within the home, and our favorite things are taking walks together and reading. My daughter attends Elementary, so if you are needing pickup or afterschool care and attend our school, we might be a good fit. I do walker pickup at the door and we stay and play at Waterworks Park for a little bit to get the wiggles out, before walking home.
