About Emily Katherine

Hi, I go by MK, and I'm 25! I am fun-loving, responsible, kind, and will always give my best. In my spare time, I like to take my dog to parks, get boba tea with friends, create art, and listen to audiobooks, among other things. My childcare experience includes working my church's VBS for numerous years, nannying, looking after my nephew and nieces, and working at a preschool for a bit. It's wonderful working with kids because they have open hearts and a natural curiosity about the world around them. They are a blessing both to teach and learn from! I love preparing healthy snacks, getting fresh air and exercise, helping with homework, playing pretend, reading bedtime stories, and encouraging curiosity and growth in all areas :) I am happy to help with light housework. My skills include play-based learning activities, adapting to fulfill needs, and gently, but firmly correcting bad behavior. I'm looking for a job with open communication and consistency, but also some flexibility.
