About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I have been a teacher for 5 years. I've taught in Spain, Switzerland, and now in Lakewood, Colorado. I hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am Orton-Gillingham certified, with a passion for helping children become confident readers and learners. I specialize in phonics instruction, beginning math skills, and developing strong writing foundations. I also have experience teaching students whose first language is not English and love helping all learners grow academically and build confidence.
