About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily and I bring a blend of teaching and caregiving experience that has shaped my dedication to working with children. I spent one year as a student-teacher at an elementary school, where I gained hands-on experience in helping students grow both academically and socially. At home, I help care for a family member who is paralyzed. This role has taught me patience, empathy, and most importantly to stay kind and humble. I am currently working on my BSN to become a travel nurse, and I have always found my strength to be caring for others. I have helped relatives with babysitting which has allowed me to see babysitting as a wonderful opportunity to build connections with children while supporting families. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel supported and valued. Whether it's helping with homework or creative playtime, I am committed to giving children the attention and encouragement they deserve.
