An absolute gem of a caregiver and human! We'd give her more stars if we could. Emily has been our part-time nanny for the past year and a half for our 3 children (currently ages 8, 5, and 22 months). My husband and I both work from home, and she's cared for our kids with incredible warmth, thoughtfulness, and attention. She plays with them, takes them on outings around town, and keeps them happy and engaged at home. Given my kids' ages differences, I'm so impressed by how adept she is with each of them: She's patient with our youngest and has helped shepherd him through milestones; she's energetic through hours of make believe and Legos with our middle; and she's a wonderful listener for our oldest. Beyond how great she is with our kids, she's also great with us. She helps enforce boundaries and rules and pitches in to keep the household running, doing school pickups and occasional light housework. She's reliable, great at communicating, and flexible. We're so grateful for her!
