Hi! My name is Em and I am a full time special education teacher in the New Orleans area! I an expanding my teaching practice by offering home care assistance and babysitting for special needs kiddos from elementary to high school age. I know how challenging it can be to be a parent to a kiddo with special needs and all parents deserve a good break every once in a while! That's where I come in! I have experience working with students with a wide variety of exceptionalities, I am very familiar with 504 and IEP plans and can offer advice on those subjects, and I am familiar with AAC devices from PECs boards to tablets with AAC apps to other forms of picture communication. I can help with play time, hygiene care, meals, and following schedules. I am excited to work with your family in any way that I can!
