About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, and I'm getting back into babysitting after many years away from it. I just moved to Bellingham and am available weekday nights and weekends. I'm also happy to care for your pets, plants or home. Fostering children's growth and learning about themselves brings me so much purpose. With over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, I bring a playful, empathetic and highly relational approach to childcare. I have graduate degrees in both School Psychology and Counseling and have worked in a variety of professional roles with kids. I prioritize creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. I always follow parents' preferred communication methods, offering regular updates via text. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I am happy to care for 1-3 children at a time. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I believe in being a positive influence in a child's life, and I would love to be that for your family.
