I've harbored a deep passion for caring for seniors, a trait that has blossomed into a defining aspect of my life. My grandma, who is 92, has been my rock throughout my life. She's had her fair share of health concerns and I'm happy to say that my support and care have comforted her through some tough times. My compassion was further ignited by a personal experience during my childhood; my other grandma was diagnosed with dementia. For 8 years, when I saw her, I assisted with transportation, meals, dressing and daily care. This experience wasn't a responsibility; it was a chapter that shaped my understanding of empathy and the impact of profound human connection.
