About Emily

Empowering students to master mathematics through a hands-on, accessible approach is the cornerstone of my 17 years of teaching experience both in the classroom and tutoring privately as well as professionally. As a Certified teacher, I tailor my methods to your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material and utilizing visual aids, discussions, and practice problems. When we encounter complex concepts, I break them down into manageable steps to build your momentum and confidence. I believe that talking through problems collaboratively is essential to checking understanding and ensuring success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or other, my goal is to foster a supportive rapport that makes learning truly enjoyable. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and seeing you grow more confident in your abilities every single day.
