I have 22 years of childcare experience and have worked with all ages between newborn and 18+, including children with special needs and multiple children at a time. I have experience with toileting, special diets, nonverbal communication, overnight assistance, live-in care, and care in clinical settings. My previous job was as an RBT, working to help children with Autism overcome maladaptive behaviors. I know some ASL, and minimal Spanish (still learning both!). I am food safety, CPR, and first-aid certified. I am good with light house cleaning, meal prep, am a non-smoker, don't mind pets, and have reliable transportation. If reaching out, please establish clear expectations of how many hours a week you will need my assistance within your first message. I'm looking for 20+ hours/week, for a minimum of $20+/hour if I am commuting (I can travel up to an hour in these conditions!). If you are in Kokomo or the immediate surrounding area, I can do $15/hour minimum.
