About Emily

I found out in the middle of the night that my father had had a stroke in Arkansas. I rushed to Arkansas to be by his side the whole time he was in the hospital in Little Rock. When it was time for my father to be discharged, I had no idea how I was going to take care of him all alone at his house in Mena. He is a 6’ foot tall man whose left arm was not moving and could barely use his left leg from the stroke. I came in to Mena scared and suddenly thrown into a caregiver position for someone who needed around the clock care. Thankfully I found Emily and she helped us! She helped my father and I every step of the way and applied her knowledge of geriatrics that she has learned throughout the years. It was a lot that I asked of her and very last minute. I basically showed up in Mena lost and had no idea what I was going to do, but she came right away and was like a rock to lean on for our family. She had a lot of great ideas and really connected with my father. Her love for geriatrics along with her caregiving skills got us through a very difficult and rough patch of our lives. I highly recommend her and will never forget her!
