About Emily

I like working with kids because they're full of creativity and imagination. They inspire me to keep an open mind and look at the world in ways I never would have thought to. It's incredibly rewarding to watch kids grow and flourish when given proper care and attention. My professional background is actually in geriatric care. I'm a CNA, and have been providing care for two years. Caregiving is a huge part of my life, my first role in childcare was helping raise my brother. I changed many diapers, and even helped when it was time to potty train. When he started preschool I switched to online school. I took my brother to and from school, took care of him until my parents got home, and then went to work. I pride myself in being able to remain kind, calm, and composed in stressful situations. Between the care I've done for both my brother, and for my job, I have a compassionate and safety focused approach to providing care, while also being able to make days fun and exciting.
