About Emily

I'm responsible, but I'm also human and not afraid to be myself. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, determined, and empathetic. I love working with kids because they're real and ask the tough questions. I've babysat a lot and also assisted with ballet classes for kids aged 4 to 15 for 4-5 years. It's rewarding to help them feel safe, heard, and to watch them grow. I'm looking for a summer job working with kids that ties into my nursing major, helping me build valuable skills for the future. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, studying history and anatomy, solving sudoku, and exercising outdoors. One thing a family should know about me is that I'm always working to grow and improve, both personally and in how I approach challenges. My top child care skills are patience, empathy, and adaptability. I'm patient and calm with kids, empathetic to their needs, and adaptable to any situation that comes up.
