About Emily

I have several years of hands-on experience in the childcare field, beginning in my early teens with tutoring, occasional babysitting, and eventually full-time nannying. I studied childcare-focused coursework throughout high school and went on to begin a degree in education with a concentration in special education. I later returned home to provide care for a family member and continued working as a full-time nanny. In addition, I spent 10 years as a co-director of a highly successful Girl Scout camp, where I gained valuable leadership skills and experience in managing group activities, safety protocols, and child development in a dynamic setting. While I have experience with all age groups, I specialize in newborn and infant care, including overnight nannying, and I have experience working with children with disabilities. Currently, I am employed as a Personal Care Attendant for a disabled adult, which has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and attentiveness.
