About Emily

I like working with kids because I find it very rewarding when I can be there to support any child, and I enjoy the connections I make with them along the way. I started working with kids a few years ago when I became an aftercare assistant for a Montessori school in Old Saybrook. Since then, I have fulfilled several positions in education such as an elementary building sub, a special needs paraprofessional, and most currently a full time school counseling intern a High School. My skills include keeping kids engaged and having fun, deescalating children who are having a hard time, and basic home cooking skills.
