About Emily

I have a background in early childhood education, and was a preschool teacher for many years! I love seeing children make connections, learn and grow. In my current full-time job as an early literacy specialist, I get to read books with students and support teachers in creating meaningful learning experiences for them! I'm looking for a job that works with my schedule. I work full time, and also teach children's yoga on the side. I would like part-time childcare work that helps supplement my income, while doing what I love! I have been working with kids in a professional capacity for 10 years. I have worked as a preschool teacher and director, after-school program director, summer camp director, early education coach and early literacy specialist. My skills include knowledge of child development and milestones, understanding of how children learn, and creative ideas for activities, projects and experiences for children.
