About Emily

Making a positive impact on children's lives is my passion. For the past three years, I've taught preschool to children ages 18 months to 5 years old, and prior to that, I was a nanny for four years. I'm patient, calm, creative, and energetic. My background includes Montessori principles. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I communicate with parents at pickup or via text, always following their preferred method. I am comfortable caring for one child and am happy to help with light housekeeping. I have First Aid Training, CPR Training, and coursework in Early Child Development. I believe in nurturing a child's natural curiosity, and I'm excited to bring my experience and love of learning to your family.
