About Emily

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, encouraging, insightful. I like working with kids because of their creativity. I love how they think and children have always taught me a lot. They keep me on my toes. I'm looking for a job that is consistent but also flexible when needed, i. e. emergencies, etc. There is mutual respect and understanding for all parties. I started working with kids when I was 23. I started off as an au pair abroad where I also helped the child I was working improve their English. I also helped with tasks and errands around the home for the family. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors. I feel the most at peace with nature. I also enjoy reading and building LEGOs. One thing you should know about me is I love visiting new places. I spent most of my earlier 20s traveling but that has slowly transitioned into exploring new places like coffee shops, museums, parks. My skills include patience, decision-making skills, interpersonal relationship building.
