About Emily

I employed Emily as my son’s nanny from May 2025 through early January 2026. She is a hardworking and caring nanny. Emily is diligent about washing dishes and tidying up our home when my son is napping. She’s also excellent at taking initiative; for example, on a day when she quickly completed her usual tasks, she scrubbed our grimy toddler tower until it looked new again! Emily even takes the time to set up creative displays with my son’s toys for him to discover when he wakes up. Most importantly, Emily is amazing with kids. My son took to her immediately and is always delighted to see her. I never worry that Emily is on her phone and ignoring my son. She’s constantly engaged with him, smiling, talking, and playing enthusiastically. She often thinks of creative activities they can do together, even looking up ideas and procuring craft supplies when she’s not working. I know she genuinely cares about my son and I so appreciate knowing that he’s in good hands when Emily is watching him. Emily often takes him for walks around our neighborhood, and several of our neighbors have commented on how good she is with our son! It’s also worth noting that Emily is reliable and a great communicator. She’s never missed a shift and communicates clearly when she needs time off or has questions about my son’s care. All in all, I highly recommend Emily as a caregiver! Your child will be in excellent hands with her :)
