About Emily

I have a deep love for working with children and years of hands-on experience in a variety of childcare settings. For three years, I was a Medical Assistant in a pediatric clinic, where I administered immunizations, took vitals, and learned to adapt to each child's unique personality and needs. I now work at Leawood Elementary with special needs preschoolers, providing personalized learning support and care-including diapering-and using specific techniques to help each child thrive. In addition, I regularly babysit for a group of 12 kids at my church, ranging in age from 1 to 8, which has strengthened my ability to manage multiple children with kindness and patience. I'm currently off for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. Childcare is something I truly enjoy, and I bring genuine warmth, attentiveness, and responsibility to every child I care for.
