About Emily

I enjoy spending time with older adults, and I look forward to helping seniors stay comfortable and independent at their living space, be at home or in a community-living environment. I spent four years working in a retirement community during high school, where I served meals in the dining room room, delivered meals to the residents' homes, and spent companionship time with the residents. That experience taught me how much a friendly face and a good conversation can really brighten someone's day. I hold a graduate degree which shapes my patient and thoughtful approach to care. I plan to recertify in CPR and first aid immediately, but I have been trained multiple times over the years. I can help with a daily living tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, scheduling, and transportation. For individuals that have memory needs, I rely on my training in neuroscience, and use sensory engagement and gentle redirection to keep everything calm.
