About Emily

I've had pets my entire life and have worked as a pet-sitter and dog walker for the last 11 years. I have experience with many breeds (extra-small to extra-large) and also know how to work around various behaviors. I have experience with nervous, shy, dog-aggressive and high-energy dogs. I am home the majority of time for the week because I work from home, and if I leave to run an errand, never let a dog go longer than 4 hours without a bathroom break. I can add training if asked; I used to train my own dogs in agility and have experience training for basic obedience and tricks as well. I believe in positive reinforcement training only, with lots of praise. I have experience giving medication on a strict schedule. I am comfortable giving pets eye drops, shots and pills. I am also comfortable with various breeds' coats and will make sure they look great before your return! My sitting style is that safety is my #1 priority. I also am a former equestrian and cat owner!
