About Emily

I love working with kids because I get to be a giant kid with them! They're just fun people to hang out with. Yes, OF COURSE we can make crafts, or run around outside, or make random noises at the iPad, or have an epic battle between our toys! I started working with kids when I was 12 on the side (the normal babysitting gigs you get as a young tween), but I started nannying at 15 for a family with three young ones during the pandemic. Altogether, I've got about 6-6 1/2 years of experience under my belt! One thing you should know about me is I have experience working with children with special needs, as well as wide cultural exposure! My skills include redirection, being very engaged with the kids personally, and deescalation. I am fully present for the kids, and I am consistent but kind in how I handle potential issues! I'm looking for a job that is consistent and can work with my availability!
