About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily and I am a 23-year-old who loves working with kids. I am a recent college graduate who is taking a gap year before studying to become a speech-language pathologist and hope to get more experience working with children and their families in different ways before starting graduate school. I have my own transportation and am currently working on completing my CPR/First Aid training. Although I don't have any official paid experience with being a caretaker, I did grow up as the second oldest of 6 children and gained several caretaking and life skills from it. I've always been passionate about children's growth and development, which led me to look into being a childcare provider. I believe in fostering a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. I'm patient, calm, and friendly person who just loves kids and wants to make a difference.
