About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily, I am 24 years old and a La native originally from Torrance, CA! I am a recent graduate of San Diego State University and got my B. A. in Sociology, but did my first two years as an Art Education major. I am extremely passionate about art in my personal life (part of the reason I just moved back to La!) and want to carry that through into my work life with the kids and families I work with! I am an extremely patient and gentle person, I truly love working with kids and creating a safe space and a fun environment for them. I have also worked in more professional jobs such as a the Women's Resource Center for San Diego State University, a barista and soon after a manager for a 90 person staffed coffee chain. I am professional, dependable, a team oriented person, and a great communicator. I have professional and personal references upon request :) looking forward to chatting more with you!
