About Emily

Master's of Social Work student with professional nanny experience seeking a regular infant nanny placement or one-time childcare jobs with older kiddos! I also do household management for families in AVL to take administrative and household tasks off parents' plates so they can have more time with their kids. Reach out if you'd like to talk more! I am a writer, world traveler, and lover of working with people of all ages, but especially kiddos. I have been working with children in some capacity my whole life, but childcare has been my main source of income since 2015--especially with children with very specific needs. I have experience across the developmental spectrum from newborn to late adolescence, including kids with disabilities. This comes from working in residential foster care as well as private in-home nanny placements working with families. I have been trained extensively in trauma-informed care, CPR/first-aid, ServSafe, and administering medications. Let's connect!
