About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily. I just moved to New Orleans from Atlanta and I'm so excited to be here! Aside from babysitting as a youth, when I was in college, I was a camp counselor where I worked closely with kids ages 8-14, teaching them about the outdoors, healthy lifestyles and most importantly, how to have fun! Upon graduation from college, I began working at a Children's Museum as a creative visionary, working mostly with infants and toddlers, singing and dancing in mini musicals, reading stories, making crafts, having dance parties and playing games. I have experience working in Montessori and Waldorf style classrooms, encouraging child-led and purposeful play. I have been a full and part time caregiver for families for about 10 years and have loved every second of it. The youngest I have cared for is 2 months, and have cared for children up to age 11. I feel confident connecting with children of all ages. I look forward to exploring how I can serve you! With gratitude, Emily
