About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily. I'm 25 years old and a college student. This is a very new work endeavor for me, but I'm looking forward to pursuing it. I'm wanting to babysit older children (7-13 years old) or provide help for a mom around the house. I'm easygoing, attentive, and compassionate. I'm willing to help with light chores around the house and with homework if needed--although I can't do math to save my life. I sadly do not have reliable transportation, which I'm fine to discuss with, and I cannot handle houses with stairs or steep surfaces due to mobility issues. I don't smoke, drink, or use illicit substances. I started working with kids when I had a job at a church nursery in 2024. While I did enjoy the brief time I had there, it did make me realize that I'm not upbeat enough to work with toddlers. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, and listen to music. When I'm out with a friend, I enjoy going thrifting and to coffee shops. Mickey's and Coffee Crossing are my favorites!
