About Emily

My name is Emily. I am currently a 3rd year college student majoring in Psychology (Counseling Psych) (Child Psych) at SSU. I am very passionate about my career and looking to gain more experience with children. I have babysitting experience, and have taken several courses involving child development. My goal is to persue a masters in counseling psych and be a child therapist. I have 3+ years of costumer service experience which has helped me learn patience and understanding of others. I have also completed a Neurodiversity Master class training program, as well as a Suicide awareness training program, a first Aid for schools, and engaging families in affirming trauma informed care for LGBT+ and youth training programs. (certification proof can be provided). I enjoy working with kids because I like learning about how they develop as well as how their experiences shape and help them grow and understand themselves.
