About emily

Bio Hi! My name is Emily and I'm a New York City elementary school teacher with 28 years of classroom experience working with children of many ages and learning styles. I currently teach art and have spent my career helping kids grow creatively, emotionally, and academically. I'm also a parent myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your children. I'm patient, responsible, and very comfortable managing multiple kids, routines, and activities. I love keeping kids engaged through creative activities like art projects, crafts, outdoor play, and imaginative games, rather than just screen time. I'm happy to help with light homework, simple meals, and bedtime routines as needed. I have my own car and a clean driving record, so transportation for activities, camps, or outings is no problem. I'm looking to do some babysitting over the summer and would love to connect with families who need reliable, experienced help.
