About Emily

Nurturing young minds is my passion! For the past four years, I've dedicated myself to providing attentive and engaging childcare. I've been babysitting my little brother and kids in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. I worked in a preschool for 2 years while in high school, and also at IXL Learning Center as a toddler Lead teacher with 18 students for 2 more years. I would love the opportunity to work more one on one with children! My approach is rooted in patience, creativity, and a friendly demeanor, creating a positive and supportive environment for children to thrive. I'm trained in First Aid and CPR, and I have a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification with coursework in Early Child Development. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, offering verbal updates and regular texts or calls. Knowing I can make a small difference in a child's life brings me immense joy, and I look forward to the possibility of caring for your little one!
