About Emily

Hello! I'm an enthusiastic and detail oriented caretaker who loves to work with children ages 5 to 10. I am interested in childcare because I plan to have my own kids someday and think this would be great practice. I like to build strong relationships with parents, teachers and other caregivers. I am friendly approachable, open and honest. I would like to be available for you on the weekends and can bring my creativity and expertise in art and music to the table. I was previously a summer camp counselor for boys ages 5 to 6 at Twin Springs Farm Day camp in Pennsylvania. I also am a strong swimmer, triathlete, endurance runner, skier, and weight lifter. This lends well to if your kids are active and looking to do activities or sports together. I can help with science and math as well. I have a car and can drive around Brooklyn or Manhattan no problem and I'm open to travel.
