About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, I am 35 years old and live in the Syracuse area. I have a total of roughly 10 years experience in caring for children from infants to age 12, including my own child (age 13 months) and children with varying disabilities. Before having my son, I worked as an Early Literacy Teaching Assistant at an elementary school. My experience in the classroom allows me to incorporate fun educational activities into play time. I am a responsible and attentive child care provider with an emphasis on safety. My certifications include adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED as well as a New York State Level 1 Teaching Assistant Certification. I realize the great importance of the experiences children have when they are young, and that these experiences will help to shape who they become in the future as adults. I am currently looking for part time child care opportunities, either in my home or yours, and am hoping to find a job I can bring my own son to as well.
